Twitter is not the only guilty party in pushing algorithmic feeds. At the time, the company said that this change would contribute to showing the “best” content on the platform to everyone. Last month, Twitter noted that it was taking steps to show more tweets from people you don’t follow in your timeline. Twitter search nav already sorta does this after you search.
